How we do it
Inspect the damage
We look at the size, depth and position. Small chips and short cracks can be repaired. Long cracks, or damage at the edge of the glass, usually cannot.
Clean and dry the break
Dirt and moisture inside the chip stop the resin bonding, so we clean it out and dry the area first.
Inject the resin
Clear resin is injected into the damage so it fills the break. This restores the strength of the glass and makes the damage far less visible.
Cure and finish
The resin is cured with UV light, then the surface is scraped flush and polished so wipers glide over it.
Polish scratches
For light scratches and wiper marks, we machine-polish the glass with a glass compound, then clean it so you can check the result in daylight.

Can every chip or crack be repaired?
- No. Small chips and short cracks away from the edge can be repaired. Long cracks, damage at the edge, and cracks in the driver's direct line of sight usually need the glass replaced.
Will the chip disappear completely?
- A repair restores strength and greatly reduces the mark, but a faint blemish may remain where the chip was. We show you the result before you drive away.
How soon should I fix a chip?
- As soon as you can. Dirt and moisture get into the chip and heat makes it spread. Until you reach us, keep the chip clean and dry, and avoid slamming the doors.
Does polishing remove deep scratches?
- Polishing removes light scratches and wiper swirls. A scratch you can catch with a fingernail is too deep to polish out safely, and we will say so.
