Car AC Service in Peshawar

A car AC service is a health check for the whole cooling system, not only a gas top-up. The compressor, condenser, fan, pipes and vents all have to work together, and a weakness in one of them usually shows up as poor cooling months before the AC stops altogether.

In Peshawar the AC runs hard for most of the year, so a service before the hot months is cheaper than a breakdown in the middle of them. Bring the car to our workshop at Tambwan Mod, Ismail Market, University Road, near Tehkal, and we will tell you what we find before any work starts.

Signs you need this

  • The AC is not as cold as it was last summer
  • It takes a long time to cool the cabin after the car has been parked in the sun
  • A musty or sour smell when the AC starts
  • Noise from the engine bay when the AC is switched on
  • The airflow from the vents feels weaker than before
  • The AC has not been checked for a year or more

How we do it

  1. Test the cooling

We run the AC, measure how cold the vents get and read the high and low side pressures with manifold gauges. This shows whether the problem is gas, airflow or a part.

  2. Inspect the moving parts

We check the drive belt, the compressor clutch and the condenser fan, because a weak fan or a slipping belt cuts cooling even when the gas level is right.

  3. Look for leaks

Hoses, joints and the condenser are inspected for oily residue, which marks a leak. A leak found now is a small repair; found later it is a refill every summer.

  4. Check the airflow inside the car

We check the blower speeds and the air coming from each vent, and look at the cabin filter where the car has one, because a blocked filter weakens cooling and causes smells.

  5. Explain and recommend

You get a plain summary of what is fine and what needs attention, in order of importance. Nothing is repaired or replaced until you agree.

Frequently asked questions

What is included in a car AC service?

A performance and pressure test, a check of the belt, compressor clutch and condenser fan, a leak inspection and an airflow check. If a refill or repair is needed, we explain it and quote before we start.

Is an AC service the same as a gas refill?

No. A refill adds refrigerant. A service checks why the AC is not cooling and whether anything else is wearing out. If the gas is low, we find the leak, and the refill is one step of the job.

How often should I service my car AC?

Once a year, ideally before the hot season, is a sensible habit. If you notice weaker cooling, noise or a smell, do not wait for the next service.

My AC still works. Do I need a service?

A check is worth it if the AC has not been looked at for a year or two. Most AC faults start small and are cheaper to fix early.

How much does a car AC service cost?

It depends on your car and on what the check finds. Call or WhatsApp us with your car model and we will tell you what to expect.
